You are made for more.

Truth be told...

When I was a baby my parents visited a psychic who seemed to read them like an open book. She gave insight like moving to the desert which we did when I turned 10. Along with other predications and insights. When it came to shedding light on me, the psychic paused and said, 'People. People. People. She will always be surrounded by people,
with no dust under her feet.'

And she was right. I thrive on connection—
whether it’s meeting new faces, sharing stories, or building friendships.
For me, life is all about the people you meet along the way.

Here's the backstory...

My Journey

Born in Minneapolis, raised in Yuma, Arizona,
and a proud graduate of the University of Arizona,
I eventually found my way back to Minneapolis to be closer to family.

It was in Rotary where I met my husband—
who knew a service club could double as a dating scene?
From there, we moved to South Dakota and began building our life together.

When we decided to start a family,
we had no idea of the journey that awaited us.
We’ve been blessed with three beautiful boys, but also carried the heartbreak of two miscarriages and the loss of our angel daughter,
who was born with Trisomy 18.

Grief is not a linear path. It becomes a part of your story—
a part you carry with you.
Over the past few years, I’ve navigated how to
share our journey with others.

From finding the right balance between sharing too much and too little,
to trying to gauge if empathy will be offered when the tears inevitably fall.

No one should have to wonder if empathy will be extended
when the heart is heavy.
